From the concept of the shepherd's Field sprang the idea of building a hotel just a few meters away from the field in which the shepherd's sheep were grazing when Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Also with the idea of building the hotel the name came "The Sahara Hotel". The building started in 1998 as a family business. In 2009 the hotel was completed and now it is ready to receive tourists from all over the world.

The hotel now houses 51 deluxe rooms in a six -floor stone building. All rooms are top furnished and provided with modern technologies.

Two Restaurants stand ready to cater for the needs of guests and visitors. One of the restaurants occupies the roof where guests can enjoy their meal in a lovely fresh air and inspiring views. The place is ideal for camera use. Photos taken here will be a real souvenir from the Holy Land. The second restaurant is located near the hotel lounge just next to the reception office. The two restaurants offer a wide variety of foods including traditional and international ones. Come and experience finger licking.

The hotel is located in an active tourist center. It is just 5 minutes drive from the nativity church of Bethlehem. A Drive of 10 minutes separates old Jerusalem from the Sahara hotel.

The hotel is located near the Sheperds' Field in Beitsahour.
