[이스라엘] 하솔(Hazor)  뜻 : 정착 [1] 팔레스틴 북쪽에 있던 가나안 사람의 왕 야빈의 수도. 납달리 지파 지경에 속하는 북부 팔레스틴의 성읍중의 하나로 갈릴리 바다 서북쪽 16km 지점 (1) 야빈은 이웃 나라의 왕들과 동맹하여 스스로 맹주가 되어 이스라엘 백성들을 물리치려고 했으나 실패하고 그의 수도는 불타버렸다. (2) 납달리 지파에게 분배되었으나 사사시대에 이르러 다시 가나안 사람들 손에 들어갔다가 여사사 드보라와 사사 바락에 의하여 멸망되었다 (삿4:). (3) 후에 솔로몬이 여기에 요새를 만들었으나 디글랏빌레셀에게 빼앗겼으며 백성들은 앗수르로 끌려갓다(왕상6:15, 왕하15:29). [2] 유대 남쪽에 있는 한 도시(수15:23).
